59. Let N be rhe number.......so we have

 

N - logb 1  =

 

N - 0  =

 

N       always true

 

 

60.  Never true.....

 

61.  We are using log a^2  =  2 log a  ......always true

 

62. Not generally  true......unless the log itself can be easily calculated......example.....

 

log39 + log28  =

 

2 + 3   =  5

 

 

63.  log6 16 / log6 8

 

Using the change-of-base rule, we have  [log 16/ log 6]/ [log 8/ log6] =

 

[log 16/ log 6]*  [log 6/ log8]  =   log 16/ log 8   =  log8 16  = 4/3

 

 

64. log (log N)= N....I don't believe this is ever true

Try them with some numbers ans see what happens. 59 looks pretty easy.

63 is easy
