A strange substance was found during a mining campaign. The scientists did all of the measurements they possibly could but the substance was easily flammable so they lost how much volume they had in the fire. The only data they have is a mass of 5.32 kg and a density of 5.34 g/cm^3. What was the original volume of the substance?

Density  =  Mass / Volume   ....  so  .....

Volume  =  Mass / Density

Volume  =   5.32 kg  / [ 5.34 g / cm^3]                { 5.32kg  = 5320 g }

Volume   =   5320 g  * cm^3  / 5.34 g

Volume  ≈  999.25  cm^3
