What rosala has pointed out is somewhat confusing to some people......multiplying two negatives together results in a positive!!!
I like to think of it like this: Let's suppose that you had a bucket with a small hole in it and that it leaks out a quart of water every minute......Then, every minute, you lose one quart of water = (-1). And three minutes ago, (-3), you had.... (-1) x (-3) = 3 more quarts of water in the bucket than you do now........!!!!
Does that make sense???
can u be more clear with ur question !
but if u want to multiply to negatives then this is an example that will help u!:
-2 and -2 are two negative integers! so now we'll multiply them!
(-2) x (-2) (when there are two minus signs while multiplying negative integers then the minus signs get cut )
=4 ANSWER
i hope uve understood by now and if not then pls be free to ask!
i hope this helps!
