17=3x + 2    Subtract 2 from each side of the equation

17 -2 = 3x + 2 - 2

15 = 3x         Divide both sides of the equation by 3

15/3 = 3/3 x

5 = x

x -17  =  -12      Add 17 to BOTH SIDES of the equation

x- 17  + 17  =  -12  + 17

x=5

That's just a typo    I typed an extra zero   the question asks for   cubrt(64/343)  = 4/7

It would take less effort to use the calculator on this website than to type in such questions!

To find the AVERAGE   add all of the scores and divide by the NUMBER OF SCORES
