Expand L side
5 + g/8 = 6g+8 - 6g
5 + g/8 = 8 subtract 5 from both sides
g/8 = 3 Now, Multiply both sides by 8.......
Remember log (a/b) = log a - log b Does that help?
At quick glance I think Q2 is T F T
Then A' would be on BC which the question states is not allowed.
How...or what have you attempted to do to answer this long question?
6/x + 2x2 Put in 3 for x
6/3 + 2 (3^2)
2 + 2(9) = I think you can do it from here.....
There is no 'solving' to be done here....your mathematical equation is incorrect
-6 +-7 = -13
a Little more detail ....how to SOLVE algebraically: (using base change log rule)
log10 x / log10 3 log10 x / log10 9 + log10 x / log10 81 = 7
2.0959 log x + 1.04795 log x + .5239 log x = 7
3.66783 log x = 7
log x = 1.9084
x = 81
As someone said before, by inspection, x = 81
log(81,3)+log(81,9)+log(81,81) = 7
Take a look at this quick sketch:
