I solved    12/3    + ae^kx

When the question SHOULD have read    12 / ( 3+ae^kx)           Use the correct syntax people !  It IS VERY IMPORTANT !!!!

9  + 27d = -84

     27d = -93

      d = -93/27                              9  + 18d = 23rd term =     9 + (18)(-93/27) = -53

tan50 = opposite/adjacent      opposite is height     adjacent is 40 ft     

             = height / 40        when you figure out THIS height you must add the 5.5 ft observer's height

Three angles  add to 180^o

perimeter =  2L  + 2W  

                = 2L + 2 (L-0.7)  = 44.6     solve for L         then W = L-0.7   meters

Second one   :     Very Similar       2[ L   +    (L-4)] = 52     solve for L     then W = L-4  meters

Slope intercept form    y = mx + b    m is slope  b is y- axis intercept (the value when x = 0)

slope =  (y1-y2) / (x1-x2)    = (3- -3) / (3 - -6)  = 6/9  = 2/3

y = 2/3 x + b    now put in one of the points to find the value of 'b'

3 = 2/3 (3) + b

3 = 2+b      b= 1

y = 2/3 x + 1
