Noice, that's exactly how I would do it.

As you should know, the slope(m) is (y_1-y_2)/(x_1-x_2). In this case your slope is 10/7. So we've figured out m=10/7. Now we can do 2*(10/7)+(-17)=20/7 - 119/7 = -99/7. So b = -99/7.

So the equation of the line is \(y={10}x/{7}-99/7\) also written as \(y=10x/7-14\)  \(1/7\)
