How to make an empty rectangle in Latex
I just worked out how to make an empty box of various horizonal size easily in LaTex.
This is not a recommended method, but other methods that I have tried here have not worked.
This coding is really simple. Just put letters inside

Very interesting question. No high level maths required.
This question was posted a couple of days ago.

I think it is really interesting. It looks much more difficult than it really needs to be.

Some guidelines for question askers.
Please note:
1) Ask only one question per post.
2) When asking a question talk about what you have tried for yourself. Then people will take you more seriously and will be more able and willing to help.
3) If you get an answer

That is correct so long as the 3*3 is in brackets
2^3*3=24
2^(3*3)=512
Remember, you must do powers before you do multiply UNLESS the brackets tell you differently.

ok
Firstly Mcfood, area cannot be cubic
Area must be in square units and Volume is measured in cubic units.
Land is an area.
so the size is probably supposed to be 1000 square metres.
I'll assume it is a rectangular parcel of land.
It could be 100m by 10m
or, it could be 50m by 20m
or, it could be 5m by 200m
There are countless possible answers.
So long as the breadth times the length = 1000
Area of a rectangle
A=l * b

Your question doesn't really make sense.
do you mean a plot of land? That would be measured in square metres.
If the plot is rectanglar there is an infinite number of different answers.
Sorry, you will need to be more precise.

I am not sure that I understand the question.
Do you mean
a
1
=1
a
n+1
= 4 + 2(a
n
)
1/3
so the sequence is 1, 6, 4+2*(6
1/3
), 4 + 2[4+2*6
1/3
]
1/3
, .....
Also, what is nEZ+ I am not familiar with this notation.
It does look hard. If you tell me that my interpretaion is correct then I will give it a go.

(4x-4)^2 = (2x+9)^2 + (2x)^2
16x
2
- 32x + 16 = 4x
2
+ 36x +81 +4x
2
8x
2
- 68x - 65 = 0
Then you have to use the quadratic formula to get the 2 irrational roots.

9x^2-23=0
9x^2 = 23
(3x)
2
= (root23)
2
3x = root23
x = (root23)/3
This is not usually referred to as completing the square but I guess it is what you want.

This is a really good question.
The inverse function is the reflection of the function in the line y=x
You can find it by swapping the position of the xs and ys in an equation
for example
y=3x+4
the inverse function would be
x=3y+4
and when rearranged this gives y=(1/3)(x-4)
