I just worked out how to make an empty box of various horizonal size easily in LaTex.
This is not a recommended method, but other methods that I have tried here have not worked.
This coding is really simple. Just put letters inside

Very interesting question. No high level maths required.
This question was posted a couple of days ago.

I think it is really interesting. It looks much more difficult than it really needs to be.

Some guidelines for question askers.
Please note:
1) Ask only one question per post.
2) When asking a question talk about what you have tried for yourself. Then people will take you more seriously and will be more able and willing to help.
3) If you get an answer

Remeniscing - a little historical humour.
I just found this old post that some of you, who have been around for a while, might find amusing.

I assume the answer would be in degrees/time period or radians/time period or revolutions per time period.
You need to give me a full question to be more specific.

Do you mean 9. 7root2, and root8?
You have to simplify root 8
root 8 = root (4*2) = root4 * root2 = 2root2
7root2+ 2root2 + 9 = 9root2 + 9 cm or 9(root2+1) cm

Even functions are when f(-x)=f(x) They are symmetrical about the y axis
Odd functions are when f(-x)=-f(x) The have point symmetry about the origin. This means that if f(-x) is rotated 180 degrees about (0,0) it becomes the f(x)
lets look at your one
f(x) = (x)^4 - 20* (x)^2
f(-x) = (-x)^4 - 20* (-x)^2
f(-x) = (x)^4 - 20* (x)^2 since (-x)^2 = x^2 and (-x)^4 = x^4
f(-x) = f(x)
So it is an even function

The area of a circle is pi*(r squared)
The volume of a cylinder is pi*(r squared)*(perpendicular height)
The volume of a cone is (1/3)* pi*(r squared)*(perpendicular height)
I did it like this because a cone is just a circular pyramid and the volume of any pyramid is 1/3 of its prism partner. (a cylinder is a circular prism)
So radius=2, height=6.5 inch
volume = 1/3 * pi * 2squared * 6.5
volume = 1/3 * pi * 4 * 6.5
volume = 27.23 inches squared. (correct to 2 decimal places)
What nationality are you?
I am Australian and I have never worked in inches before. Don't worry, the maths is the same.

Thanks but I know what 5! is.
5.5! is included as one of the standard functions on this site as shown in my attachment and it works on this site's calculator, but, I have never seen it before and it does not work on my standard CASIO calculator. I was hoping that a site manager (or someone else) could explain it to me.

Do you want it written in degrees (as a decimal answer)? That's the only thing that I can think of.
If you use a scientific calc you can just enter 17 (degrees button) 41 (degrees button) 49 (degrees button) = (inv) ( degrees button )
The answer is 17.6969444444..... degrees
