Very interesting question. No high level maths required.
This question was posted a couple of days ago.

I think it is really interesting. It looks much more difficult than it really needs to be.

Some guidelines for question askers.
Please note:
1) Ask only one question per post.
2) When asking a question talk about what you have tried for yourself. Then people will take you more seriously and will be more able and willing to help.
3) If you get an answer

I don't think that you usually talk about 3Dimensional figures having perimeters.
I guess you mean the combined length of all the edges.
It's regular so they will all be the same.
How many are there?
You can finish.

In my Algebra class we are talking about Equations as Relations and I have this problem, 3-5x=2y and I'm not really sure how to solve it ?
You can't 'solve' it. If you have 2 unknowns (x and y) then you need 2 equations before you have any chance of solving.
You could graph it if you want to. It will be a straight line.

(9r-3)+6 when r equals 3
Put a times sign between the 9 and the r
replace the r with the 3 (substitute in 3)
then work it out.

I have assumed this question is in degrees.
asin(sin(120)*36)/45
The question as you have written it is unsolvable because you can only find asin of a number between -1 and 1
and sin(120)*36 is more than 1
Perhaps you mean
asin(sin(120*36))/45 ?

First the bottom cannot be equal to zero so you have to state what the pronumeral cannot be.
Then
multiply both sides of the equation with what is on the bottom with the pronumberal. That will get it off the bottom and onto the top of the other side.
eg
5/6 = 7/(x-2)
x-2 cannot be equal to zero so x not be equal to 2
5/6 * (x-2) = 7/(x-2) * (x-2)
5(x-2) / 6 = 7
etc
If you do you fractions upright it is much easier to see.

r = (1/5)(ln 3)
r = 0.220
explained
This has just been done straight on the calculator
1 / 5 * ln 3 =
The calc answer is 0.2197...
Your answer has been rounded of to 3 decimal places or 3 significant figures (both the same in this case)
What is there to explain?
