The easiest way is to convert all speeds to MPH
Japanese train moves at 320 km/h
1mi/h = 1.6093km/h or 1 km/h = 1/1.6093 mi/h
Then
320 km/hr = (320km/h)/(1.6093km/h) = 198.8 mi/hr
French train moves at 89.44 meters per second.
Convert to meters per hour by multiplying by (3600s/1h) (89.44m/s) = 321984 meters / hour
Convert meters to km by multiplying by (1km/1000m) (321984m) = 321.984 km/hr (then restore the rate)
Convert Km to miles by multiplying by (1mi/1.6093km) (321.984km) = 200.1 mi/hr (then restore the rate)
The fastest train is the French train at 200.1 mph
The Japanese train is at 198.8 mph
To have the second fastest train, the speed has to be between these two numbers.
Ellen’s train need to be 198.8mph < E < 200.1mph (E=Ellen’s train)
The hardest part was using complete sentences. Guys don’t speak in full sentences. We use short phrases and then grunt. Or we use sign language. Usually a certain finger. I guess it’s a kind of digital language.
