It says he 'gives EACH of his 13 friends 24 tokens'     so the answer is 13 x 24

if it said

'he gives his 13 friends 24 tokens'      the answer would be 24   (note the absence of the word 'each')

=8^(12)  /  8^(14)

= 1/8^2

= 1/64

or

8^12 * (8^-14)

Hmmmm......  Incomplete question.....where is the graph?

Divide both sides of the equation by 38 to get

h = 1596/38

h= 42
