I think this comes from our horse on a carousel question the other day......
I will assume 15 is in degrees
h = 25 cos(5x15) = 6.47 cm above the midpoint resting point
(that is the horse goes up 25 cm and down 25 cm from the midpoint)
1 kg / 2 bags = 1/2 kg/bag (1/2 kilogram per bag.....another 'unit rate'-type question)
The web2.0 calculator on this site can easily do this for you .......you know this, right?
7.75%/100% x 9000 =
7.75/100*9000 = $ 697.50
Philip's unit rate is 12 kg/4hr = 3 kg/hr of dough prep
in 6 hours he would prep 6hrs x 3 kg/hr = 18 kg of dough
Here is a crude rendition of a 3 scale ammeter
M is the meter Rm is the resistance of the meter
S is a switch which places various resistors (R1 and R2) in PARALLEL with the meter resistance
Here is another take:
16 is to 5% as x is to 100% then set it up as a ratio:
16/5% = x/100% Multiply both sides by 100%
16/5% x 100% = x
16/5*100 = 320 = x
AFTER seeing Chris' answer, I found the error in mine
85184 = 44^3
(44^3)^(44^3) = 44^(3x44^3) = 44^ (255552) = 44^(2 x 127776) = (44^2)^127776 = 1936^127776
as Chris found !
Nice job, Chris ! Looked at it for a while...didin't quite come up with that !
Correct-o-mundo !!!
80000/40000 = 1.11^x Now simplify
2 = 1.11^x Take log of both sides
log 2 = x log 1.11
log 2/(Log 1.11) = x = 6.642
