2(7 1/4)=6(1 3/4)+4

7 + 1/4 =  29/4      and   1 + 3/4  = 7/4

So

2(29/4) = 6(7/4) + 4

58/4  = 42/4 + 16/4

58/4  = 58/4

And this is true....

I assume you want the area.....

The area is given by s^2, where s is the side length...

So

A = (9.3cm)^2      and you can evaluate this on your calculator....

I don't see anything, but here's the equation...

y = 10 + .25x   where x is the number of seconds and "y' is the number of gallons after "x"  seconds....

It IS a pretty neat how it wotks, though.....and the concept is simple.....!!!

 "Benford's Law" is the basic premise that, in many statistical data sets, numbers with leading "1s" tend to occur more often than numbers with leading "2s"....and numbers with leading "2s" tend to occur more often that numbers with leading "3s," etc.

We need to convert 10 ft to cm = 120 x 2.54 = 304.8 cm ... and 1m = 100cm

100m / 40cm = x / 304.8   cross-multiply

30480 = 40x        divide by 40

x = 762 cm  = 7.62 m =  [39.37/12 x 7.62] = about 25 ft

2300 x 5.35x =  45,555,200       simplify on the left

12305x = 45,555,200                 divide both sides by 12305

x = 45,555,200 / 12305  = about 3702.17

Quotient = 975

Remainder = 3
