Vcone =  [pi * r^2 *h]/ 3     where r is the radius and h is the height of the cone....so we have....

Vcone =  [ pi * (7.5)^2 * 7]/ 3 = about 412.334 cubic feet

25% are Malay and 75%  are the rest...of these  (9/15)75%  =  45% are Tamil

Let T be the total...and we know that

.45T  = .25T + 480     subtract  .25T from both sides

.20T  = 480      divide both sides by .20

T = 480/.20   =   2400 total books

Check

2400(.45 - .25)  =  2400(.20)  = 480

37% are adults...then, 63% aren't.....and the  girl/boy ratio is 3:4.....so 27% are girls and 36% are boys....and we know that.....

.37T  = .27T + 80   where T is the total number of people     subtract .27T from both sides....

.10T  = 80     divide both sides by .10

T   = 800 total people

Check

37% of 800  = 296

27%  of 800  = 216

And (296 - 216)  = 80

[ Phiⁿ - (-phiⁿ )] / √5        where  Phi =  [1 + √5]/ 2  ....   and phi  is the reciprocal of this

BTW....this is known as "Binet's" Formula

Surprisingly enough....the irrational number in the denominator might lead you to believe that this "formula" would produce an irrational result....but it doesn't.....!!!!
