As I said.....this is  very  difficult to solve  by  hand.......

You will  end up with this equation  :

600 i^5 + 3600 i^4 + 9000 i^3 + 12000 i^2 + 9000 i - 617 = 0 

I think  there is a general  form for  solving  this, but  I don't know what it is.....(probably very involved  !!! )

So.....technology  seems the  way to  go

Triangles QRS   and  QOP   are similar

Since  the  areas are in a ratio of 9/16   the scale  factor  of  QRS to QOP  =  3/4 

Therefore    Q  =  ( [ 4 / ( 4+ 3)]   * 4  , 0  )    =   [ (4/7) * 4, 0  ]    =     (16/7,  0)

Very difficult to solve  this algebraically.....WolframAlpha   shows  that   i   ≈  .063   =   6.3%
